Send a message to a Birding Pal
Birdingpal.org

You don't need to be an expert birder to contact a Pal. However these are serious birdwatchers who are willing to help. It is a privilege to contact them. Your message should reflect decent respect.

A Birding Pal does not charge a fee, however you should pay for their expenses, transportation costs, entrance fees, meals, etc.

Pals will answer your messages quickly, if they can. You might write to someone who is traveling, so write to more than one Pal, and be patient. Let us know if someone doesn't answer and we'll check that everything is okay.

Let us know when you are going to meet a Pal, and then let us know how it went.

Happy birding.

Note
Highlights include Canoe Creek State Park which has many different types of habitats in a small space, including woodlands, Riparian forest, grasslands, transitional zones and also Canoe Lake. There are opportunities to see many species of warblers, including less common Riparian species such as the Black-throated Blue Warbler and Cerulean Warbler. Canoe Creek is also home to the endangered Indiana bat. Also close by is Raystown Lake which has a resident breeding Bald Eagle population that can commonly be seen. I have lived in Pennsylvania my whole life and have seen a lot of its bird species. I currently live in Williamsburg, PA, home to the Lower (rhymes with power) Trail, a great biking/walking trail that runs along the Juniata River and includes many different bird species as well.

We can't do it without you.
We require the purchase of a passphrase for $10 for the year.

We are asking for your help with this, to keep Birdingpal going. By requiring identification through a credit card (done through Paypal.com, the giant payment system of ebay.com) we are able to increase security for our Pals.

So for the security of the Pals and to support our efforts to keep this running, please subscribe and get a passphrase here: www.contactpals.org/birding/subscribe.jsp

We ask you to consider helping us keep Birdingpal going.
Happy birding.
