Abdullah Alsuhaibany has an MSc in 'Marine Environmental Protection' from the University of North Wales (Bangor), UK, in 1996. He has been working for National Commission for the Conservation of Wildlife and Development(NCWCD) for more than 13 years, he is an active Ornithologist; involved in research and monitoring programmes on bird communities occurring in Saudi Arabian nature reserves and islands; he was responsible for several bird's projects, active participant in national bird ringing scheme; he is the national coordinator for the Ornithological Society for the Middle east (OSME); member of several technical committee on conservation-related issues. He worked as a manager for the National Resources and Protected Areas Unit at 'the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (PERSGA)' for about 8 years. Since January 2007 until now he is working as a Coordinator and Scientific Officer at 'Reef Chief Organization'. Mr. Alsuhaibany has travelled all over his country and has great knowledge of the IBAs in Saudi Arabia. You will find your birding trip with him very informative, enjoyable and comfortable.
